Asbestos Materials Register

The purpose of an Asbestos Materials Register is to readily provide detailed information as to the existence, location, condition and type of asbestos to employees, other employers within the premises, any contractors engaged to perform work that may disturb ACM, and any other person who may be exposed to asbestos within the premises.

Even if no asbestos is found, an Asbestos Materials Register should still be kept which records this fact.

The Asbestos Materials Register forms a part of the Asbestos Management Plan.

The Register must be held on site and be made readily available.
